FAQ’s

  • The cost of repairing a watch depends on the type of repair needed, the extent of the damage and the make and model of the timepiece.

Simple repairs like a watch battery replacement or link adjustment can cost as little as £30, while more complex repairs like movement overhauls or restoration cost upwards of £200 or more.

Although we can provide an estimate to find out the exact amount it will cost to repair your watch, our technicians will need to inspect your timepiece to establish the best course of action going forwards. You are more than welcome to pop by our Hatton Garden repair centre, or why not send us your watch in the post?

  • We recommend having your Rolex watch serviced every 2-3 years to keep your timepiece in optimum working conditions.

A Rolex watch is a delicate instrument that requires regular maintenance to ensure it keeps accurate time and remains in prime condition. There are several telltale signs that your Rolex may need a service, including:

    • Your watch is running too fast or too slow

    • The second-hand skips several seconds

    • Condensation under the watch glass

    • You can hear a rattling noise in the case

    • The hands or dial seem loose

    • Odour coming from your watch

If you're facing any of these issues, we recommend bringing your watch into our repair centre to be inspected by one of our watchmakers. Ignoring any of the problems mentioned above could result in further damage.

  • Our Rolex watch battery replacement, reseal, and pressure testing services can often be carried out while you wait or within the hour, depending on the demand for our services.

We will always recommend calling or emailing ahead to book a time slot.

  • We offer a comprehensive Rolex watch glass replacement service while you wait. Although we stock a wide range of glass types, we recommend contacting us to confirm we have the correct replacement for your particular watch brand + model.

If you own a vintage watch, the manufacturer may have discontinued the production of the watch glass replacements, and a bespoke watch crystal will need to be cut to size. Unfortunately, we aren't able to offer this service while you wait.

  • Simple Rolex watch repairs can be carried out while you wait, such as adjusting the links, replacing the battery or glass, pressure testing and resealing.

As an independent repair centre, we can provide a full Rolex watch service within 3 - 4 weeks.

More complex overhauls, such as the restoration of a watch, can take longer.
